The temple...

The wooden structure (above) that I presume to be the old ‘meeting place’ or perhaps market, I need to ask, is cordoned off so that people do not walk inside it – but is a pleasure to see as I walk past each day.

And below is a photograph of the temple, outside my house, which I can visit. The temple was something that I had not found before, always there is another surprise at each turn in this village. They have restored the area and done their best to use local materials and produce. They told me that the furniture, telephones and other items in the houses are all sourced in Guanlan town.
